Fortunato GUARINO, alias « Nato »

eDiscovery, Cybersecurity & IT Compliance Independent Expert, Independent Consultant
Today, corporate eDiscovery Officers are facing two main challenges: The first one is directly coming from new technologies: Manage relevant strategic digital evidences collection of possible unfair internal usages and/or cybercrime external actitvity in regard with IT shadow, BYOD, IoT, Big Data. The second is due to legal initiatives: How to protect and maintain privacy rights during a worldwide eDiscovery inquiry before complaint. Because forensic tools and local laws are more and more accurate to border civil and criminal rules of practices with digital evidences, there will be a high price to pay for the slightest slip-up. The growing litigiousness of business cases by competitors and governments is the new economic rule. To role play it and be ready when the day comes is the only relevant ROI expected by the board of your company.
